UUP Benefits
Dear Colleague:
One of the economic benefits negotiated by United University Professions for eligible employees in the UUP Professional Services Negotiating Unit is the Employee Benefits Plan. This plan adds to your base compensation and is worth all the more because it is generally not considered income for tax purposes. We believe that the Employee Benefits Plan becomes more useful as the employee’s awareness of available benefits increases. That is why we are pleased to present this description of the dental, vision, scholarship and life insurance programs provided to you through the UUP Benefit Trust Fund. UUP is constantly seeking ways to enhance and improve employee benefits through collective bargaining and legislation. The success of our efforts depends upon the suggestions and support you offer to United University Professions as your representative.
Yours in Solidarity,
William E. Scheuerman, President
